Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

asad.ae is operated by Tenet Communications & Technologies, FZCO, a company incorporated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. ASAD is a service brand operated by Tenet. References in this policy to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean Tenet Communications & Technologies, FZCO.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data needed to respond to your enquiry, deliver the services you have asked for, and comply with applicable law. Specifically:

  • Information you give us when you submit a form, request a proposal, download a framework, subscribe to the newsletter, or contact us directly. This typically includes your name, email address, company name, and the contents of any message you send.
  • Information collected automatically when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on the site, and referring URL. Used in aggregate to improve the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies as described in section 5.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. We do not collect sensitive personal data (race, religion, political views, health data) and ask that you do not include such information in any submission.

3. How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or proposal request
  • Send you the materials you have asked for (frameworks, worksheets, proposals)
  • Send you the ASAD Field Notes newsletter if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe in any email)
  • Provide and improve the services described on the site
  • Comply with legal obligations, including financial record-keeping and applicable AML requirements
  • Protect the site and its users from fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for behavioural advertising. We do not enrich your contact information from third-party data brokers.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers who help us operate the site and deliver services (hosting, email delivery, analytics, CRM, document signing, payment processing). These providers are contractually required to use your data only on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors) where reasonably necessary.
  • Regulators or authorities where required by applicable law.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring affecting Tenet Communications & Technologies, FZCO.

Some of our service providers are based outside the UAE. Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

  • Essential cookies needed for the site to function (session management, security).
  • Analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate. We do not use these to track individuals across other sites.
  • Preference cookies that remember choices you have made (such as form input on multi-step forms).

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

6. Your rights

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (and equivalent law where applicable), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal obligations to retain it
  • Object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@asad.ae. We respond as soon as we reasonably can, in line with the timeframes set out under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy or as required by law. Marketing list data is retained until you unsubscribe. Proposal and client engagement data is retained for the duration of the relationship plus seven years for financial record-keeping. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form for up to 26 months.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified via the site or by email where appropriate.
